What a pitiful non conference schedule.

Starting next year SEC teams are required to schedule at least 1 high-quality non-conference team from the Atlantic Coast, Big Ten, Big 12, or Notre Dame each season. Playing at CFP-ranked Georgia Tech certainly qualifies. So, two scrub games instead of the old three.

Bammaw by comparison will play East Carolina, USF, and Florida State. (And even if they lose against 2-loss FSU again, this year shows that a bad loss doesn't count when it's Bama.) Ohio State plays Ball State, Texas, and Kent State. Some teams like Ole Miss and LSU don't have their "real" out of conference teams scheduled yet.
