If you gave a million dollars to a school… Would you want to give a non deductible contribution gift or a 370k tax savings contribution? And that’s just for fed. If they have a state income tax, it could be 400k plus. Anyone who gives a lot of money will want it to be back door to NIL for the savings.

When large contributions are given it is usually out of a family foundation that is set up to get the tax benefit on the front end.

I don't know if you've noticed but I keep up with the coaching searches going on. No open job is going after Josh Heupel because none expect to be able to hire him. I'm not psychic, I'm just not dumb. An open job that could hire Heupel away would have to be a better opportunity than the one he's got. There are no open jobs like that.

Lea was never leaving Vandy. From Nashville. Went to MBA. Played baseball at Belmont and football at Vandy. Has 2 degrees from Vandy. Dude is Nashville to the core.
