Tiers are based on realistic chance of being in the class, considering ranking, proximity, visit history, and who I think we should prioritize. Prob left some obvious ones out. Someone feel free to reformat and take over, add to/take away.

I agree, way too early, but I’ll play ball. Commend you for going the length to get this started.

I think what you’ve come up with is incredibly subjective. And of what you considered as far as factoring in to assume tiers, what carries the most weight in your mind?

I’d make a few changes off the bat, personally.

To start, I’d switch Israel Abrams and Derrick baker, or at least include Israel in tier 1.

Asa Barnes tier 2 imo.

Guerrant id put tier 1. Keland Shelton Jr (are we recruiting at wr, 247 shows him a safety), Cam Wade, Jaden Butler, Eli Ferguson, Velon Henderson, all would be tier 2 currently imo. I don’t think some of them being from Tennessee auto make a them tier 1.

Kennedy brown id put tier 1.

Dj Jacobs and kj green I’d put in tier 1. Adds and Willis in tier 2.

Hasan I’d put tier 1.

It’s all subjective right now, since there‘s very little to go on, but it’s not that I think Tier 1 players are better than Tier 2, it’s that I think they’re either more realistic, a better fit, or a combo of both.

Edit: Gonna change Hasan, bc I agree. he’s been here 3x this year. Abrams I feel will be too steep in price and I think Barnes is a priority.

I feel there should be a little consensus in this, at least if you want it to get pinned and viewed/maintained as much as possible. Less subjectivity the better. I personally would think position ranking and number of visits taken would be best barometers for determining who we likely have in our tier 1s.

Have you screened our visit lists this season for visits by these guys? That would be a good place to start.

Great stuff! Have to dig in a little more to opine but all I would do is cross reference the 2024 and 2025 game visitor lists as well as 2025 spring practice and 865 Live lists.

Totally. Just wanted a starting point. Someone can reformat and pin that one, I really dc. But there’d been a couple of times recently I wanted a little bit of a quick reference guide for the 27 guys we‘re targeting. I did carefully look over the visits and obviously repeat visitors I tried to list in T1. But there will def be a few I missed.

Anyway, I will try to keep up with it, at least until a better one comes along.

Agreed as far as talent. it’s just that he hasn’t been on campus since Bama game last year, afaik. A little pipedreamy for me to put him T1 but if there‘s a position we could land a guy like him, it’s Edge.

Update: Moved Lil’Marcus Jones into T1 as a repeat visitor.
Moved Caden Moss into T1. Can’t confirm a previous visit but he’s a teammate of current commits White and Albert.

I think I’d have Adams as Tier 2 QB and Abrams as Tier 1. Price said Adams doesn’t even have an offer yet. I can’t remember him visiting, but maybe I’m wrong. I know Abrams has visited for one of the big games, if not more.

I do agree that I prob could take Adams off T1. Because we just haven’t shown interest. I‘m watching his playoff run. I think he’s intriguing and as a developmental guy could end up making sense for us.

I just feel Abrams will cost more than we will want to pay. Unless there’s a major shakeup. We took our big money QB in Faizon and I feel the focus in 27 will be more defense and building around him.

I would love to land Adams as our 2027 QB for that reason. Just doesn’t seem like the staff is all in on him, even as a cheap option. The kid looks really good to me and a guy who would likely be willing to wait his turn.

I would also move 5* Max Hiller into tier 1, we are in his top two trailing Alabama.
