The Official #20 Tennessee @ Florida Game Thread, 7:30 PM ET, ABC

We don’t know that they aren’t. If anyone’s talking to him it’s through his agent and he’s going to be tight-lipped about it. That being said, I don’t think he’s going anywhere. He loves Vanderbilt,
Yes, he does love it there. An offer of double his salary may make him love it more at Florida or LSU

I actually still have mine in a box in the attic

Mine are in the basement, but same thing. My 2001 UT-UF game is a treasure. LP, recorded the game, the post-game, some of Gameday final, and - and this is my favorite part - it was still in the VHS recorder when Spurrier announced his retirement. I knew I'd stopped the tape after rewatching it at the end a few days before, so I hit record, and added the "Spurrier retires" news and press conference to the last part of the tape. So my 2001 UT-UF game features not only the game, but Gameday owning up to their insulting picks AND Spurrier quitting.

I guard that tape with extreme, uh, aggression.

In my entire life, I’ve seen Tennessee play worse than their ability against Florida. It’s not changed, even in our victories. We either give the game to them or we’ve eeked out a W that shouldn’t have been close. Tonight, we buried them early and they just took it. They ran the football well, but they should’ve been aggressive and passing, but they knew they were cooked. I really thought we’d lose tonight, but the men on the field didn’t consider it.

Righteously kicked azz in the first half, then put on a clinic on how one can run on this Floriduh team. 31-11. Vols could (should?) have run up the score, but their home winning streak is ended in a manner that will leave a bad taste in the mouths of Gayduh fans and boosters for a few years.

The weight of the monkey that CJH and this team just lifted off the back of every Vols fan is hard to quantify. It's still sinking in. Went down to the local pub to watch the 4th quarter. I already had my orange jersey on, of course. Being in Florida, a couple tables of of Gator fans were still there drowning their sorrows. Gator tears and a couple of pints made a perfect end to a great evening. Glad I was able to see us finally beat those bastards in their house again. GBO!!!
