didn't Bush 2 do that? All those payouts he did didn't help the economy. That was absolutely a democrat move. No real republican would have ever done stimulus payments. Not with a multi-trillion dollar deficit. Not that the GOP is a whole lot better at financial management, but there is GOP financial management, and there is DNC financial management. The main difference is the GOP spends it fighting wars in places we have no right to be fighting. The DNC machine is good at making it disappear two fold into thin air. That is taxpayer money, and if our government budgeted and stuck to it, and had a surplus, I believe it should go back to whence it came. Budget, stay on budget, return overpayments.
You know the Trump administration is now claiming the $2000 payment stimulus will come mid 2026 prior to midterms. That's indicative of their desperation to not lose Congress next year. Of course, it's likely none of those eligible will ever see a dimeSo this is a good thing? Take a look at that trend line for all of them champ. All three of them were under water by this point and the rate of sinking is increasing. But somehow this makes Trump look good.![]()
If anything it shows it more of a cycle that voters go through emotionally during a presidency. So this is a good thing? Take a look at that trend line for all of them champ. I’m looking forward to reading the posts on here that inflation is non existent while they cash their bribe which going to juice spending and is 100% inflationaryYou know the Trump administration is now claiming the $2000 payment stimulus will come mid 2026 prior to midterms. Because of a terrible tragedy, JFK didn't get a second term. If he had it's likely his countrywide support would have wained some in his second term. Not just because of no social media, but because of the reasons you stated due to human nature. Reagan's popularity would have taken more of a hit in his second term had there been social media. Hell, Clinton remained fairly popular without SM in his second term, but he took a hit because his personal character issues were all over the print media and the impeachment. My point is that all the guys I mentioned had policies that worked by their leadership and ability to compromise and do what was best for everyone as a whole. Not catering to the fringes of their partyDon’t disagree. To me it says the love affair voters have with their president is a short lived fling with a bitter break up (which admittedly is just a rephrase of your statement)
The MAGA acolytes with a double digit handicap will eat this up. He may actually succeed for once with a start-up product.Look what the heck just came across my Facebook feed!

I think that's true .... but would those reductions in attendance costs be significant enough for a college applicant from a low income family to complete a bachelor's degree without a loan?

Bruh that’s only the beginning.
With all that tariff money that trumpy is racking in by mid 2026 that $40 trillion dollar debt will be cut by 3000% and those trumpy checks will be about 400 or 500% more.
