Would make a great Vols doc in a few years. In some ways they changed baseball.

The single-most impressive thing about TV's tenure here might be how he was able to dial it back a little bit and channel it better, yet still play with an edge and win it all a couple of years later.

It wouldn't have been the craziest thing in the world to see those guys fly a little too close to the sun that year, burn a little too bright, or whatever cliche you want to use and then have not enough left to get over the hump in subsequent years.
