These idiot fools with their brilliant 20/20 hind-insights are exhausting to me. Coaching truly is a damned if you do--double damned if you don't profession. The money is great...everything else about it sucks.

Sports fans are all geniuses in their own mind...among the most arrogantly stupid people on earth.

I really dread what is coming if we lose either of these last two games...the whole offseason will be a toxic dumpsite filled with posts from fools just salivating at the chance to fire Heupel....every mistake will be amplified, every misstep will br micro analyzed and blown completely out of proportion...

It gives me a headache and a sick stomach just thinking about it.

I dont see why this is even an argument. In no way shape or form do you go into next season with a qb with a rs freshman with only 7 career pass attempts and a true freshman along with a walkon. That is just a recipe for disaster.

Now whether said qb we do get is a gaston moore type or a starter type is beyond me, but imo if they wanted gmac to start next year they would have been more intentional in getting him more reps

Why , because winning is the point of the game!
QB is the only position that 1 player can either make or break you!

I believe Gmac can be a really good, maybe great QB!
Depending on him to be next year is a real gamble.
I’m 100% hoping he can be , but if not it’s gonna be a disappointing season .

He wouldn’t, and it wouldn’t matter if he did.
1 game of Gmac starting doesn’t do squat for next year, Nico plays against Iowa, looks good and everyone thought we were in great shape at QB. How’d that turn out?

Only thing it would accomplish is us fans getting to finally seeing him play significant snaps.

Go look at the top 12 and their QB's:

1. Ohio State - high paid, but from HS - they won it all last year without a top QB
2. Indiana - Not highly paid
3. Texas A&M - not highly paid
4. Georgia - not highly paid
5. Texas Tech - no idea but says he makes 1 mil from what I could find
6. Ole Miss - transfer from D2
7. Oregon - most likely highly paid
8. Oklahoma - highly paid (could make the case he's not the reason for the team's success)
9. Notre Dame - RFr QB
10. Alabama - 5th Yr Senior (probably not highly paid)
11. BYU - QB left in the summer, not highly paid
12. Utah - couldn't find anything but not a huge name, so would assume he's not making 3-4 mil

Yes, apparently UF has no backup plan if Kiffin goes elsewhere. I guess all chips are on the table for Lane.

Great place for Kiffin to be in terms of negotiations. He can ask for the world and see who will outdo the other until the very end.

Imma be honest with you and it’s probably just me so flame away…but I’m tired of the plug and play obsession..I want to grow with a qb who committed to playing for the Power T. Start Faz or GMac and roll with them the fans will understand the growing pains and deal with them…like all of us watching manning flourish through the years.

I’ll bet you $$$ that if we get a starting level QB form the portal that GMAC will transfer. High level QBs don’t sit multiple years. And no, Merk is not that. And they rode with Nico in year two because they paid him a lot and he would have left if you didn’t. Same with Faizon, he isn’t staying for three years to ride the bench and we aren’t paying him too either.
