President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

He's just trolling. He knows.

Its like saying, if a murderer never gets the justice due to him (no jail) how does that impact me? He knows this.
Murder isn't a victimless crime. Just because you dont get caught doesn't mean someone doesn't get impacted.

79 going full on bleeding heart was NOT on my 2025 bingo card.
I can afford strawberries picked by White Florida crackers, that is fine with me. Most MAGA types can't swing that though. They dont understand illegal immigration is the new slavery. Just shhhhshh and move along, nothing to see here.

I'm still bigoted AF though too with the occasional dash of racism, especially when I'm driving.

Wut? So you're on disability but an illegal picking berries, which is literally back breaking work, and you think thats a lost opportunity for you? I hate to break this to you so late in life but when you were growing up and people said "You can be anything you want to me if you put your mind to it"..they were lying.

People coming on Visas from China and India taking office jobs, thats your lost opportunity bro. Thank Trump and other politicians for that.

Well, its a complex subject due to globalization, so in context of that or more like without globalization it is a lost opportunity i.e. higher wages.

I mean I can say the same thing about those as well, we live in a digital world where there are no boundaries.

In the future, it might be more like LEARN TO PICK or LEARN TO COAL, instead of LEARN TO CODE.

Your right those are lost opportunities l..and yes I could pick berries for 15 hours a week at a high..I'm currently a grocery picker part time and am the fastest and best in my department and tops in the state....on days when I'm not in dialysis..
Only thing that should be picking berries is a robot, not humans. I'll just leave it at that.

But it doesn't impact you, meaning if a murderer doesn't serve jail time, society isn't impacted anymore than the illegal in that context. Obviously, society is negatively impacted by both.

When Skynet takes over, all this will be a reality

Getting rid of illegals is fine. Its cheaper than keeping them in prison. Maybe 20K to get them processed and out the door. To get them all out a couple hundred billion. I'm all for getting the criminals out hurting folks. Id LIKE to see money not spent on frivolous blanket policies that help Americans. Probably could end homelessness pretty quickly. I'm getting real sick and tired of seeing them begging near my Wegmans and I dont have a lot of faith that they are actually homeless or that winter is gonna do what I need it to do.

Do you make sure not to crush the potato chips? I got a bag the other day and when we opened it, there were nothing but crumbs🤣

Look out Latin Americano's. It has techno music so you know its serious.

There is always room for automation, farming has been going through automation (not always electrical in form) for 100s of years in various forms. (I was generally trying to make a dig at swamprat) Most of what I use to pick as a kid is done by automation today, other things not so much. Yet, everyone seems much more unhappy.

AI is going to take over yet Microsoft still has the same bugs and problems in Windows that they have had for over a decade. If it can't fix Windows, well, good luck with most other things, and I actually think AI has some uses as specific tool.

Skilled manual labor shortage is going to be real problem with all the old man whiteys retiring. Unskilled, uneducated, criminal illegals aren't going matter.

Ford CEO says he has 5,000 open mechanic jobs with 6-figure salaries from the shortage of manually skilled workers: ‘We are in trouble in our country’ | Fortune

Yeah it does. People go to jail. People die. The same thing you complain about with illegals. At a minimum the illegals cost the government tax payer dollars. If illegals are costing you "opportunity" you have bigger problems.
A lot of people have problems then, from the kids who can't find lawn work to the WV drywall hangers who used to work in NoVa for example.

Funny enough I make that a priority cuz it pisses me off when it happens to me...or they just milk on your bread..
I normally won't get chips when using order pickers. We know a guy that does it a few hours a week like you, so I occasionally get my groceries that way and schedule pickup early enough that he may get to pick my order. Unfortunately he didn't pick the one where our chips got smashed.

A batch of newly declassified records on the mysterious disappearance of Amelia Earhart has revealed intimate, heart-pounding details of her final moments before vanishing in 1937.

Some 4,624 pages of thousands of documents were made available on Friday, at the order of Donald Trump, who ruled in September that the government would release all records related to the pilot's final trip and 'everything else about her.'

The files, announced by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, included newly declassified intercepts with 'information on Earhart's last known communications, weather and plane conditions at the time.'

The last radio transmissions from Earhart occurred on July 2, the day she and navigator Fred Noonan disappeared, when she told the US Coast Guard cutter Itasca that her plane was near Howland Island in the Pacific Ocean but was running low on fuel.

Same logic could be applied to going over the speed limit right? If only everyone followed the speed limit we'd have a reduction in around 160,000,000 crimes per day/week/month/year.

Someone crossing the border illegally has the same impact on you as someone going 80mph in a 35 in Vermont. Victimless crime unless you're a Republican and looking to screech about something that isnt Abortion or Jesus in schools/target/etc.

But we spent a billion in emergency health care for baby births (which we need more of), so we gotta spend $100B to get rid of some of them.
