It seems like they target anyone with impunity. Or maybe they do take the opportunity to attack the 'other'. Where do you get the information?

I keep reading that there are considerably more Muslim victims than Christian. Boko Haram attack anyone not perceived as agreeing with their vision of a caliphate and there are more Muslims than Christians where they operate. Regardless, ideally Nigeria and the other affected states will be able to end the problem soon.

I'm the North there is, because the Christians living there already fled South or were killed years ago. Boko Haram and ISWAP absolutely conducted religious holy war against infidels...... Is just that they ran out of Christians and have moved on to others now.

The middle belt of the country is where the most killing is taking place currently, Fusani Muslim herders targeting Christians in their ancestral lands, pushed south due to their northern grazing lands drying up.

The moguls are bankrolling much of this, remember AL Qaeda and ISIS have blown a lot of the money they stole from banks already. I did some digging and haven't been able to come up with confirmed state sponsorship, but many believe the state are at least complicit because of the amount of money involved.
