Plenty of blame for Banks during the season. He’s ultimately responsible for the defense in its entirety. (Although I’d argue he doesn’t get credit for anything good they do, only blame for the bad).

But when the other team has 3 points? That’s just complaining to complain.

What happens in half of the 10th game of the season against a totally over-matched opponent has no bearing on a team or coach's season or body of work. I don't care how drunk anyone is, I don't think they're calling for Banks' job based on that 30 minutes of play.

Been moving today and only watching highlights. Feels like a sleepwalking game on O, slump on O second quarter again and D playing ok. We seem to look sluggish after bye weeks. Maybe they need to hit a bit more in bye week scenarios.

Agreed defense ain’t the issue this game. And they got a lot of backups in, that quite frankly just aren’t good (yet, for some).

The number one thing that’s bothered me this year is not playing complimentary football when it mattered most. A lot of times where we’ve needed the offense to make plays and they don’t. And a lot of times where the offense has made plays and the defense subsequently given up a score.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a vibe in the locker room that the offense can win games and the defense has excuses from the injuries. But it’s been snake biting us.
