The announcers just pointed that out. They are ranked where they are at because (1) they are unbeaten against weak SEC teams and (2) they beat Notre Dame.

SC's losses are to the top half of the SEC teams.

They squeaked by Notre Dame. Another highly overrated team with a very weak schedule.

This is beyond embarrassing for A&M getting blown out by a under .500 South Carolina at home being #3 in the country. Ah,Beamer is known for the big upset,but this doesn't look like an upset. It looks like getting straight up outplayed.

Indiana is favored by 29.5 points. That’s not news. Another day in the Big Ten.
I saw 23.5.

(Though oddly somewhat worth noting, while IU beat Wisconsin the last two times they played (2023, 2020) they haven't soundly beaten them since 2001)
 
It looks like James Franklin is going to join Blair Witch and take the Virginia Tech job
