Ah….but it is the classic liberal justification. If the end goal is just enough (decided by them of course) then disreputable actions in service of a noble goal are justifiable.
That’s why Stalin and Mao starved millions of their own people if it was to establish equitable future food distribution (it didn’t).
And more recently, it was why the democrats were literally voting for people to go hungry and for air travel to become unsafe as long as they thought it would provide cheaper healthcare (it wouldn’t).
Ends never justify the means. Conservatives believe this, liberals don’t.

Technically the same concerns were voiced about Catholic JFK.
I would consider voting for a Muslim but I would carefully consider their history and past statements first (just like I would a Christian)
