Coach Q to the Giants

So there was at least a brief crossing of paths with Q:

ā€œVitello originally hired Eberhardt in October 2017 after spending eight years in professional baseball. Eberhardt was Tennessee Baseball's Director of Sports Performance from 2018-21 before he returned to fill the same position in July 2022 after one year as the head strength and conditioning coach for the Chicago Cubs.ā€

According to McKee on a mini pod he dropped:

Q has been looking to get into more of an ā€œadministrativeā€ role for awhile now and the Giants are offering that. He thinks he’ll be in more of a front office role (like Head of Strength/Nutrition kind of thing), than everyday strength coach role.

He also thinks Sean McCann is going to join Tony

Tony, man. Don’t make me dislike you. I thought we had a chance to basically roll forward with this thing in mostly the same shape, but if Sean McCann and Frank also go with Q, Tony basically took a wrecking ball to the program he built on the way out the door. That’s not cool.

If Josh, Tony, Frank and Danny are all tending to business, we should be fine. Frank’s career has an expiration date.
