Oh, and he did all of that after securing a defensive rebound on the other end, executing a nice behind-the-back dribble to shake the first defender, and running the length of the court to take the first bunny. Impressive handles.

Defense willl need to improve of course but we are also switching all 5 often with 3 players over 6’10 against one of the smallest teams we will play. Doesn’t matter the skill level as much if you can get a 6’3 guard cleared out on 6’11. Letting our bigs get some work defending the perimeter

Carey is gonna see minutes in SEC play, his strength and rebounding are gonna be needed.

He’s not as good defending perimeter and that’s why against these small schools that spread out we don’t see him as much.
