Anyone recall what that analytic was against Oklahoma?
63%. Pretty fair number, I think.

Exactly. It doesn't mean nothing
It doesn't mean nothing? I assume you mean it doesn't mean anything. IT MEANS, that ESPN Football Power Index gives us a slight edge to win our final two SEC games. Is it a guarantee of future events? Of course not. It's an interesting predictor that I look to look at for upcoming opponents. In addition, I like seeing what the betting odds indicate. Also not a guarantee of anything.

Thanks Freak.
Was just curious on the number since we were both closely ranked and riding win streaks.

I'm with you...the predictor thing is just another thing that makes it entertaining to me...and I may or may not have relied once or twice to make picks in the season pick em contest. 😁

Doesn't mean anything. Teams lose games that the Football power index favors , it happens sometimes

It would be interesting to see how accurate ESPNs predictions algorithm is over time.

It would take someone smarter than myself to math that out though.
I think they tend to overvalue us a little bit for whatever reason. But I still like to look at them.

I'm not sure if their percentages are updated throughout the week or of a static number pregame-

But the one I saw had us with like a 57% chance of victory a few days before the game. Not even sure the one I saw was even from ESPN though honestly.

Honestly, I'm not upset at all about Oklahoma and Bama was what it was. We didn't deserve to really even be in either game. We laid stinkers. Not the first time and will not be the last

That missed FG against UGA is gonna be stuck in my craw for quite a while though.

I'm with ya stoli...we had Georgia on the ropes and beat. As much as I'll always remember the kick in 22, I'll also always remember the kick in 25 and what could have been.

They will be up for us.
They could go recruit players from the flag football intramural teams and be up for this game. I will believe the vols win down there when the clocks hits 0:00 and vols have more points. With this team ... I just don't see it. If vols lose to candy in Neyland, heupel better be on the clock and DW better demand some coaching changes.

I could understand if the kick had been that difficult. 60 yards? Torrential downpour in freezing weather? Bad snap and lucky to get it off in the first place? None of those things applied here

For all intents and purposes a chip shot in great weather with a solid snap.

I still can't believe he missed it

Probably a lot longer than you, and since I am a vol fan, I don’t keep up with the everyday occurrences of the Florida football team. Maybe you should mind your own business.
Touched a nerve, did I? Nega Vols tend to have have fragile nerves
