1-5 are not in any way related to the 2 measley less schollies we are dealing with right now. Heck, I’d bet we have 2+ scholly players that never saw the field this year. Not a valid counter.I am happy to read this and respond to it, if you will research the terms of the NCAA probation and can explain them in detail to where it's clear that you understand them. And then explain how these sanctions can affect recruiting and play on the field. If you can do that, I will happily have a discussion
Shhh they don't understand math, or how the new college football era works..9-3 = 10-3 80% of the time. We're better than 90% of ACC and B10 teams year in and year out.
10-win HCs in the SEC don't grow on trees.
That world no longer exist.I want Tennessee to be how I was when I was a kid, dominant, feared, winning championships, and we will never get there if Josh settles with the state of things now and makes no changes. I have hope he will, hopefully this past game will be the catalyst for change.
You don't understand college football if you don't get how a reduction in scholarships, official visits, evaluation time, and limited communication can affect recruiting and on the field results. I'm sorry, that's just a genuine fact of how the sport works. You guys are quick to make opinions heard after having no knowledge of the facts. And by the way, it's been a reduction of 28 scholarships over the course of five years. Read things.1-5 are not in any way related to the 2 measley less schollies we are dealing with right now. That isn’t why we’ve had slopfests in most of our SEC games this year. We are bad at fundamentals. You don’t have to be loaded with five stars (and if you look at composite rankings we are doing well talent-wise, anyway) to be good at the little things. We seem to have a lot of players coaches, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but we also need someone to lay down the law in preside and make sure there’s attention to detail. That’s what Cutcliffe brought and what was missing during the Randy Sanders era. I’m suspecting we have no one on defense that fits that mold and Golesh may have been that guy on offense. You don't understand college football if you don't get how a reduction in scholarships, official visits, evaluation time, and limited communication can affect recruiting and on the field results. Just a few of the things. Ask questions if you don't understand
Both things can be true. I just want you guys to understand why the roster is so young and not up to par. Please read and fully ingest the severity of these punishments. Our roster went toe to toe with UGA for the first time. We’ve been pushed around by them even in better years. We’ve weren’t clearly inferior to Bama, either and looked better than OU for much of that game. We really haven’t been losing games because the roster is lacking. Both things can be true. Yeah because our coaches put our guys in positions to win. We've been playing at a big talent difference for years, the difference is that Heupel and co are actually really good at maximizing player potential and offensive scheming. Some just don't want to admit it. We're at around 50% blue chip ratio. Georgia and bama hover around 75-80%. You can google it.Our roster went toe to toe with UGA for the first time. Scheme doesn’t really have that much to do with UGA’s DL being incapable of consistently whipping our OL at the line of scrimmage like they have the last four years.Yeah because our coaches put our guys in positions to win. LOL the negas who all year predicted us to lose to Florida will say "they were the worst florida team in years, how could Heupel NOT win"And if Tennessee wins, you'll celebrate and give the coaches and team credit for sticking it out right? RIGHT?!!
You probably should celebrate 9 wins after losing 9 starters on offense, not having a qb during spring practice, and having the highest percentage of freshmen on the roster and the lowest percentage of seniors on the roster in the entire SEC.To the degree that one can give credit for bearing a team that just got murdered by Kentucky.

It's almost as if having to play around a dozen true freshmen has difficultiesScheme doesn’t really have that much to do with UGA’s DL being incapable of consistently whipping our OL at the line of scrimmage like they have the last four years.
And we are hilarious on third and long and YAC on defense. Like one of the worst in the nation. That’s not because we don’t have four stars on defense.
Scheme doesn't have anything to do with it? You think Heupel won 11 games in 2022 based on roster talent? Didn't we lost the 38 best players to the portal not two years before that?Scheme doesn’t really have that much to do with UGA’s DL being incapable of consistently whipping our OL at the line of scrimmage like they have the last four years.

I’ll celebrate any win. I’m not going to act like beating Florida this year deserves a statue next to Neyland’s.You probably should celebrate 9 wins after losing 9 starters on offense, not having a qb during spring practice, and having the highest percentage of freshmen on the roster and the lowest percentage of seniors on the roster in the entire SEC.
