If you look at the games the teams ahead of us in the playoff rankings have left to play, there is a slim chance we could sneak in if we were to win out and things fall our way. It would take several things to go right for us but it is possible. After today, we should move up to 20. It is feasible for us to be in the 16-17 range after next week just based on teams ahead of us losing.

I understand there’s probably such a small chance to even begin to have a shot at a chance but I also remember sitting watching the Tennessee Arkansas game in 98 when when one half or one third of our fans had left and Stoner (sp) fumbled that ball and we went on to score eventually win National Championship. So to me it’s not over until it’s all over.

This forum, vn.com, is the room. We're the monkeys. Everything that can possibly be said about Tennessee football, WILL be said. And agreed with. Even the most extreme, silly, stupid things.

The trick to understanding the ebb and flow is this: it's not the same people saying all those things. Some people say one thing, some say another. It is only in your mind (most of the time) that anyone is arguing with himself. Most folks here have coherent viewpoints. We may not agree with them, but at least they're consistent. [then there are the few who aren't lol]

Exactly. Teams know if they stop the run game, we are doomed. We have about five pass plays. The rest is throw the ball in their direction and try to get a flag and jump up for the ball. We are not ready to face any of the teams in the top 12. It would be like the Ohio state game. They better be worried about fla. VANDY. Vandy has a defense that will rock our offensive line. They hit hard. Their qb is a fighter and his smart. He gives 100%. Their coach is defensive minded.
