Hard 8 is probably 7/10. I’ve had better bbq in TN. Hutchins is a 10/10 and the craziest part is, as great as the bbq is, the peach cobbler may be the best thing you’ll eat.

Pecan Lodge and Goldees and Terry Black's are top 3 in DFW. Hutchins is up there though.

It’a the quantity/quality at Hard Eight. They do a lot of things and all of them are good. Other places are more limited.

As we get in to week 2 of this you tube/ ESPN deal... I've learned one thing.

Get rid of the awful commentators that nobody likes anyways. I honestly don’t think people like them, but we love sports so we watch for not enough highlights and get these idiots shoved down our throats. Their ratings would go through the roof if they got rid of the “persona” commentators.

I HAVE had good BBQ in Texas. That place in College Station was fantastic. Best creamed corn and brisket I've ever had.

However, the King Ranch served me garbage brisket that they basically just steamed in the pan and drowned in sauce.

Also, its tongue-in-cheek. I am a fan of Memphis and St. Louis style BBQ. Preference for dry rubs ()
