What specific people in this Recruiting forum are trying to push out Heupel? I don’t think I’ve seen one explicitly write that it needs to happen.

I wasn't necessarily talking about people on here. But there is that coming from the lunatic fringe and the media saying that.

Yep which is why a bunch of us wish all the negative whining and griping about Heupel not being perfect and needing to do a bunch of things better or he will lose his job in a few years. It’s not calling for him to be fired but it sure doesn’t help him feel very supported. It’s negative energy and a distraction that the media loves to run with. We all know he’s not perfect and so does he but it doesn’t need to be blasted on social media 1,000 times a day. The response is always the same “but I didn’t say we should fire him “.

This is just one that took 30 seconds to find in a thread littered with people "being out on Heupel" and seeing the end of Heupel era, etc. I didnt waste any more time screenshotting others, but clearly some people blacked out after the 2nd half of the game.

That's just in the game thread in this forum. Fans being done with Heupel can be found throughout the FF, Twitter and other social media.

We have an unprecedented opportunity. There is absolutely only one person who could do that job at an elite level. If CJH does not hire D4H then I will lose all faith in his ability to take this program to the pinnacle.

My take on the people who always want someone fired is that they are probably placing bets on the team and they lose money. There's really no other way to explain it. Could be that they're just miserable people though.

This board had turned into something really bad though and I wish Freak could somehow make it better. I know that's not gonna happen but---it is what it is. Maybe it's an inditement on society today. No respect anywhere.

Good stuff, I can see your disagreement and don't mind your list.

Tier 2 are guys I think are due to win it or could do so this year. Tier 3's are guys that could in the next 5 years at their current school if things fall right.

Freeman got to the Championship last year and that is the reasoning for him. To me Cignetti is the best pure coach out there. If he goes to Penn State, LSU or Florida that will be problematic to have that talent with those resources. I just don't think he has the resources at IU to compete. He would vault to a top of tier 2 or tier 1 coach if he moved.

Cignetti is locked up at Indiana long term. I hope he wins the National Championship this year. Sick of seeing the same teams always winning it.
