Not sure if it's been posted, but...

Best take Herb as ever made.

And he is 100% right. He is the first of multiple big time people who have called out our fans this week for the big overreaction. I hope people sit back and look at the totality of the situation. Because rn this program is heading in the right direction.

He's calling out a very small group of people.... Literally the overwhelming majority of fans don't want Heupel fired.

In before, he's a tOSU homer who wants us to suck.
Herb is one of the most unbiased announcers I’ve ever heard. Every fan base feels this way. I’ve seen tOSU fans complain that he hates their program.

People always have on their preferred tint of rose colored glasses.

Couldn’t agree with you more brother.

That is a fair point. BUT look what we got instead. Pruitt without a doubt was worse than Schiano.

We hired Pruitt because we didn’t actually conduct a search in the aftermath of the gettable good coaches. Stopping the Schiano hire was the right call. Just because they screwed up the hire after Schiano doesn’t mean it was wrong.

You’re right. There was not a kick off search.

Haslam and Currie had already decided it was gong to be Schiano, from the get go.

Then the Andersons brought Fulmer back into the fold.

I, myself, have been quiet on this, but Josh worked a miracle on this program. We were Nebraska and many of us thought that the program was too far gone and would lose support to continue to even try to be competitive in this league. Heupel has earned the right for us to take a step back and look from a distance to see what has transpired under his leadership. We went from the worst season in our history to vying for a NC under harsh penalties in 2 years because of this guy. 9-3 or 8-4 as a yearly expected result will not cut it at UT, but he’s not that kind of coach. He’s fighting for better.

Does he need to make some changes? Maybe. It’s a more complex atmosphere in the game than I know. I’m just a fan. All I know is that he has taken us from the dumpster juice to the CFP with a handicapped QB and he has earned the utmost of kudos.
