Disappointed in the loss for sure. I just hate the we always have to blame coaches. Fact is this one is on the players. 3 turnovers and a kicker that hit 2 55 yarders and we couldn’t make a 37 yd FG.. Also, the crowd saying Hype has lost his mojo… He tried to score going into half but another TO.. 4th down call was a beautiful call. Hit the kid in the facemask. I think coaching was fine last night.

26 is a rebuild, 27 you lose a bunch of d-line talent and probably CG. So 28?

All I know is we are a top 6 job in the sec , and there are only 4-5 teams outside the SEC that could be considered top 10 jobs so 10-11 at worst and anyone with a “ who would come here” mentality has the wrong attitude.

I do with better coaches. Our team will be loaded next year with our recruiting class and 10 or so portal players. We will have top end talent to win every game.

Need some staff changes and upgrades. And before everyone cries, I am not saying anything about Heupels job. Assistants only

Again the thing we all are focusing on is ...a hypothetical. You want him to kick a FG before the 2:00 minute TO. You then want him to go for an onside kick which if we are playing percentages, it is less than a 5% chance that it works or you hope that with a totally banged up defense we can prevent them from a 1st down when they have shown the 4 or 5 yard passes have worked all night. We weren't out coached or outplayed we just were down and all we could do was try and come back. The only thing I can blame this on is the QB who threw 2 costly interceptions and let's talk about one more thing...the tackling on those turnovers.....the fumbled score was as if we were playing 2 hand touch, the interception on the 5 yard line no one was near the guy before the 40 yard line and the other one was a floater and a terrible throw...with a QB you are the leader and you sign mini-helmeta for cash when things are going great well with Bama and now this performance things are going mediocre and you need to fix the turnovers...

This has been such a sloppy year of football. I can’t thing of a single game where the team has come out, set the tone early, and played really good football for 4 quarters. Not a single game. It’s been a circus for 2 months.

In my opinion it’s not just this year that’s been sloppy. We consistently have issues year in year out. From 2023 UF/Mizzou debacles to last year having like 4 consecutive games of scoreless first half’s. It’s infuriating. Perfection is unattainable but lorrrd these mistakes are peewee-esque and cost us games over and over.

Call it a “down year” if you want, but people need to understand that there are at least 8 SEC teams who think it’s their birthright to be in the playoffs every year — and only 4-5 can make it every year. And that doesn’t count the spoilers like Ole Miss, Missouri, etc., that might make a run some years.

This isn’t the old football world. No down years. You can portal and pay for top players now and stack rosters in a year. Look at Indiana and Louisville. You either go hard to fill needs and upgrade or you stay where you’re at.

Indiana and Louisville will also have years where they aren’t this good. Everyone will have down years. Silly to think they wouldn’t
