I think teams reflect the attitude of their coach.
Some teams may not always be skilled every year but they are always tough and play hard nosed football and give anyone a battle.
Utah, Georgia tech, and now Vandy, to name a few. Just seem to have that attitude.
UT we love the week non conference teams and Kentucky that let us run up and down the field Untouched, but not so much the UGA, Bamas and OU’s that bring the pain

This isn’t the old football world. No down years. You can portal and pay for top players now and stack rosters in a year. Look at Indiana and Louisville. You either go hard to fill needs and upgrade or you stay where you’re at.

I do with better coaches. Our team will be loaded next year with our recruiting class and 10 or so portal players. We will have top end talent to win every game.

Need some staff changes and upgrades. And before everyone cries, I am not saying anything about Heupels job. Assistants only

Definitely the most disappointing loss since 22 Carolina for me but if we can regroup like that team did and beat Florida, vandy and our bowl opponent and get to 10 wins I'll be a happy man

If Heupel doesn't shake up his coaching staff in the off season and he manages games next year the way he is doing now, I see sub .500 next year with that schedule.

All I know is we are a top 6 job in the sec , and there are only 4-5 teams outside the SEC that could be considered top 10 jobs so 10-11 at worst and anyone with a “ who would come here” mentality has the wrong attitude.

I’ve never said fire Heupel, but if that’s the conversation some want to bring up get the
Hell out of here with the “ who would want to come here “ BS!

Disappointed in the loss for sure. I just hate the we always have to blame coaches. Fact is this one is on the players. 3 turnovers and a kicker that hit 2 55 yarders and we couldn’t make a 37 yd FG.. Also, the crowd saying Hype has lost his mojo… He tried to score going into half but another TO.. 4th down call was a beautiful call. Hit the kid in the facemask. I think coaching was fine last night.

We were in it. It just was so wrong. On their first touchdown, it appeared that he went out of bounds. The entire stadium was booing and asking for a review. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Heupel let the extra point go off. That pissed off the entire stadium.

then they played the spooky rocky top song. No one was interested. Everyone was pissed.

It went way down after that.

It was a stadium of fans wanting to be hyped, with no reason to get hyped.

"Let"? My eyes are old and I'm pretty far from the field, but wasn't Heup running down the field yelling at the refs about it?
