We’ve gone 11-2, 9-4, 10-3, and maybe 10-3 or 9-4 this year. That means we’re right there and not a flash in the pan. A program that wins games that’s on the verge of breaking through. And we’ve won some big ones during that time. Just none this year so far lol.

Recruits aren’t as emotional as fans. Especially now with money involved.

Agreed. Calling for heupel gone is stupid.

I do think momentum has a huge impact though. No hes not going to be a Saban, but if he’s willing to make tough decisions around the staff and can garner a top 5 class or 2 there’s no reason why a team of his couldn’t go all the way. Heck look at some of the past nc winning head coaches. The one that won one with cam newton at Auburn. Miles and Orgeron at LSU? Jimbo at FSU? If you have the talent, and you do the little things right, and you have a killer instinct as a team, you absolutely can win one without having a “best in the country” coach.

I don’t necessarily disagree but same staff was in the playoffs last year.

We could also beat FL and Vandy and go 9-3.

Our fans don’t get into it until right before the snap. Uga took us out of it by getting the play call in quick and snapping quick. Arkansas did the same thing. Our fans were ready to lay down before the first quarter ended.

Smarter? Who is it that’s not smart enough? Get rid of them.

To win a game like that? You basically had to just not shite the bed. That was NOT a great OU team. Score should have been a lot to a little. We didn’t just piss down our leg, we shat our pants on half our drives.

Heupel probably shouldn’t be fired this offseason, but he’s never getting us as far as James Franklin did PSU last year. Would you trade a CFB playoff semifinal for us losing most big games? I probably would, bc we’d have an actual shot at a title under a coach like that. But those are the thin lines we are operating under in today’s age.

Franklin did that year 11 btw.

Love the dude. But that’s an example of what Heup means when he says “we have to play smarter”.

ESPN headline is mateer engineers defeat of Vols. Uhhhh he had 160 yards and an interception. He was awful, we just didn’t do anything of merit on offense.

The blueprint was there for how to beat the OU team and those plays worked when we ran them: in the flats, mid range crosses. We were determined not to do what they were giving us and it cost us the game. Halzle and JA should be ashamed of this performance.

Heupel ran the ball twice before half running the clock from a minute down to 25 seconds (TO’s in his pocket of course) and then ran verts with 2 shell high and people blame it on Joey. Ignorant

Just look at what we’ve done in every close game this season. The whole stadium knew this was coming by halfway through the second quarter.

We were in it. It just was so wrong. On their first touchdown, it appeared that he went out of bounds. The entire stadium was booing and asking for a review. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Heupel let the extra point go off. That pissed off the entire stadium.

then they played the spooky rocky top song. No one was interested. Everyone was pissed.

It went way down after that.

It was a stadium of fans wanting to be hyped, with no reason to get hyped.

Lol not every route is gonna be open. Don’t throw floaters deep over the middle when the safety is waiting maybe?

Putting those 2 INTS on the play call is hilarious. Plenty of other play calls to question. But Joey got pressured and tried to force a couple. It’s ok to say that. He’s a gunslinger.

He ran the clock down from a minute to 20 seconds by handing it off to Bishop twice. Ya that drive ain’t on Joey
