Mateer is overrated but he will get all this praise tomorrow and fan fare. He’s a marginal QB and he did not give up a fumble for 7, an INT for 3, an INT going in for a score or a pick 6 before the half against Bama.

Mateer is a better version of Nico, not gong to wow you with numbers but also doesn’t kill you in certain spots.

They know Aguilar is a gunslinger and baited him over and over. Our coach kept calling long pass plays and not being patient.

Why is Lewis playing? He can’t catch and is an average runner.

Kitselman has had drops all year. Davis is a mismatch nightmare and had a great game and you leave him out in a fourth down call? Kitselman keeps being rewarded with all the reps and drops 3-4 a game?

Where are the motions to help Joey read the defense and what they are in? Nothing to help him see the defense and all the disguises Venebles likes to do.

We went 12 personnel several times in the game. Bishop and Thomas weren’t getting anything, don’t mind trying Lewis. The 4th call was such a good call because no one is expecting the freshman to get the ball, he’s been mostly a blocker all season. Was a perfect throw. Has to catch it. That simple. Kitsleman is a way better blocker than Davis, but Davis still got a lot of snaps and had a good game. 3 runs after a turnover is a fair critique. Didn’t like the second down run call, get running it on 3rd and 2 though.

I didn’t see it, but that play never happens if we take advantage of great defense for a half and up double digits. You just can’t play that well on offense and be down at half. Can’t turn the ball over. 10 points directly on turnovers.

Bro I don’t care if he’s a freshman, you have to catch that. If Davis is in the game they’re not letting him run as wide open as they let the freshman lol

And you think they’re gonna leave him wide open if he’s the one in there? Davis has never been the 2nd TE in that formation. The whole world would have known what was coming if Davis was in.

You’re a 4* player that had offers from every major program. Make the easiest ****ing catch you’ll ever have
