Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Anyone blaming Banks here knows nothing about ball. We lost this game on offense. Too conservative coming out the half and it killed the offense. The defense did it's job. This season is done and the recruiting class, all we can do is hope it sticks, I don't expect any flips.

While you guys btch and moan remember this. The refs missed a call that lead to OU winning. Same happened with UGA. They lost but if the refs do their jobs it's a different game

I am not going to blame the refs. We turned it over 3 times and it was a full system meltdown on offense. We handed the game to OU. This isn’t on the officials.

I just hate losing because of our own damn mistakes, this game we had a ton.

Heupel needs to upgrade the offensive position coaches…TE & Special teams have been getting worse every year.

Been saying this for weeks (reallllllly hate to say it told you all so) but it’s obvious JH is no longer term fix here. No clue how you argue otherwise at this point. And I’m not someone who has dissolutions about the status of our program - we’re no bama, OSU, ND, etc. but he can’t take us where we need and want to be. He’s got us there now and he’s really no better than what we’ve had in the past, outside of his exciting first 2 years.

Year five.

Still undisciplined.

Offense stalls against every really good defense.

Last two years have been all defense and dominating that side. And Heupel does nothing on defense and let’s banks handle it.

Year five and without an elite defense and we’re looking at 7-8 wins.

This is a terrible sign for us and I’m afraid for our future as other teams are making moves and going to improve quick.

I can definitely argue otherwise. But I’m not going to try because we have some overly emotional fans.

He’s better than Butch, Dooley, & Pruitt lol I mean come on.

But his ceiling might be 10 wins…I’m fine with being in close games and making playoffs every couple years when the talent actually plays to their ratings. But I’m not sure he can win it all…to be fair I didn’t think Phil could either until they did it.

Yeah… you can go on to the curb with that opinion.
