'25 Recruiting Forum: Official Tennessee versus Oklahoma Pre-game/Game Thread

We were never gonna be, nor expected to be, elite this year. Hoped we could sneak into playoffs. Maybe we can finish 9-3 tho.
Who gaf what expectations were in preseason. This is the best offense in the SEC. Heup **** down his leg and blew two games. The defense took 15 steps back. People that thought we’d be ass didn’t pay attention to our roster

heupel has turned us around but until he actually seeks to correct his glaring issues, we’ll be a fringe playoff team for the next decade.

Too many mistakes, bad play calls, bad timeouts, bad penalties, and the unforgivable letting that cancer 23 fester and grow on this team.

NOTICE THE GAME 23 DIDNT PLAY A SINGLE SNAP, THE DEFENSE LOOKED LIKE WHAT WE LOOKED LIKE FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS
A problem is that there are some who are completely okay with this mainly because of where we came from.

I would die to have a team that is disciplined. It’s like watching a Rocky fight every week where it’s up and down and crazy sh** happening all the time. And just hitting enough plays to win or get knocked out. No excuse for all this crap in year five. Maybe banks is tired of Heupel and it’s coming through to the defense. He saved him for two years.

OU dominated our OL. We couldn't run at all and had lots of trouble in pass protection. Their LBs played very fast and their freshman Gilroy locked Brazell down in the second half. We should have won but didn't capitalize early or play well late.
