They didn’t draw it up for him. He was just one of the options and ended up open

Hell I don’t think most people knew that? I knew it didn’t stop after a 1st anymore but it doesn’t even for out of bounds is crazy if that’s the rule

I’m just going to be honest. This team just isn’t very good or well coached. We have been given an easy schedule and that’s why we have our record. It makes me nervous for our future as we haven’t looked very good for years. Got lucky with an elite defense for two years that had elite talent and that’s not the case anymore

Context matters. Lost our QB at the end of Spring. Lost both our CB's. Nickel lost his mind over the summer. Sprinkle in more random injuries.

We beat UGA if our kicker hits a freeroll chip shot.

Hard to argue this season is a bad coaching job.

Young player just needs the awareness that if he sees he's going to be open when he leaks out, he has to EXPECT that ball. It was actually a great call and great design.

On top of that we’ve run it out of that formation a lot on short yardage plays. I don’t recall us ever passing from it which is prob why OU committed to run
