They did themselves no favors with the cover-ups. It wasn’t just the church though. That was the front end of the me too era. Our culture needed a long overdue cleansing.Maybe tell the ones in charge of the churches to stop allowing scandals to happen, stop trying to cover stuff up and there wouldn’t be that stigma. It’s been widely viewed that way since at least the 80s. Not my fault “leaders” are voted into positions of power by said churches and they have taken advantage of children. It’s not a political or religious viewpoint. It’s a don’t rape people, especially children in the church viewpoint. I think you and most logical people would agree with that![]()

That betch Alexa has already turned the clock back. Yours must be a blonde AlexaShe’s dead wrong today. Told my Dad the same thing so I just checked and she said 6:30. All of us are in ET zone so she’s wrong. I’ve got your back on this one @MAD
Because they have a favorite player or coach they root for? It’s pretty obvious. I still have a Chipper Jones and a Steve McNair jersey I have worn to games. I don’t wear them on normal days but it’s perfectly appropriate to wear them on Gameday.I don’t get grown men wearing jerseys with names on the back other than their own.
Yes, and society just keeps allowing it to happen. Just like Pedo U. NCAA could have swung the hammer down on them but “we don’t want to punish the current players”. GTFO and grow some balls. Those players can transfer and play somewhere else. Heck the entire university should have been shutdown for a year and do a complete restructuring of their leadership from the top down. It’s not a church problem, it’s a sick society problem.
