They did themselves no favors with the cover-ups. It wasn’t just the church though. That was the front end of the me too era. Our culture needed a long overdue cleansing.

It’s not a church problem, it’s a sick society problem.

Because they have a favorite player or coach they root for? It’s pretty obvious. I still have a Chipper Jones and a Steve McNair jersey I have worn to games. I don’t wear them on normal days but it’s perfectly appropriate to wear them on Gameday.

Yes, and society just keeps allowing it to happen. Just like Pedo U. NCAA could have swung the hammer down on them but “we don’t want to punish the current players”. GTFO and grow some balls. Those players can transfer and play somewhere else. Heck the entire university should have been shutdown for a year and do a complete restructuring of their leadership from the top down.
