YouTube TV has raised its prices almost exclusively due to ESPN regularly blackmailing them into doing that. And what's crazy is they are spending millions on an ad campaign to get YouTube TV customers to harass Google into acceding to Disney's demands.
I get that we are talking about two humongous corporations, but you are not constantly paying higher prices because of Google arbitrarily raising prices.
How do you think that is going to go with this new stand-alone ESPN service? How long does it stay $30 and what will it be in 5 years?
This behavior is why Disney finds itself in this situation. They almost exclusively drove people from cable to streaming services. This newest stunt isn't going to save them either. People are already complaining about a TON of aspects of the service already.

YouTube has 2 choices, pay or drop all Disney propertiesYes but he pays YouTube
I don’t want prices increasing either. I started out at $45-$50 as well. But I’m not caving to Disney just because they want people on their own platforms. I find YTTV to be very functional.Uh YTTV has not raised prices almost exclusively due to espn blackmailing them. They continue to grow revenue and print money. This is like believing that businesses raise prices solely due to inflation. Then they report revenue and earnings and they’re more profitable than they’ve ever been.
And you’re asking how things are gonna go bc this new espn app won’t stay $30. My brother when I signed up for YTTV it was like $45/month. I was up $90/month when I cancelled.
TV isn’t something I want to think about or have to take some moral or social stand on. That’s for real life stuff. I’ll eat price increases (as I did) until it gets to the point I can’t turn on the tv and watch what I want. Then I’m paying for inconvenience and that’s just dumb. And that’s where we landed.
Ok put it on a channel. Then go to guide and put it on another channel. Then hold the back button not reverse but the back button that takes you like back to the guide, BUT hold it down and it will toggle between the two.It just takes forever for a channel to load, and there's no previous channel functionality that I can find.
I do like how the list of all the football games shows the scores.
Why is no one blaming $ankey and the leagues.I don’t want prices increasing either. I started out at $45-$50 as well. But I’m not caving to Disney just because they want people on their own platforms. I find YTTV to be very functional.
The networks are the reason we had re-alignment and now they want to mess up the consumer.
@jave36 i didn’t at you but right above this post I put a post on how to do thisIt just takes forever for a channel to load, and there's no previous channel functionality that I can find.
