ESPN/ABC just went out on YouTube TV [11/14 it's back!!!]

I just did this exact thing. Watching Vandy get roasted on Disney+. Feelsgoodman.

For those saying watch the game on YouTube, that’s what I generally do if a situation like this occurs, but today YouTube is being EXTREMELY harsh on striking the videos down. I tried tuning into the Vandy/Texas game out of pure curiosity and I can’t get a video to go more than a few minutes without the uploader being struck down.

Disney will be on top of this all day as the outage causes more people to buy their unlimited service -- their goal all along.

I was doing that successfully until about 30 minutes ago. Was working well all day yesterday and up until about 30 minutes and all I can get now is a scrambled signal that is in and out. I'm about 20 miles away from that station. Maybe my antenna just took a dump. Tried moving it around but no joy. I'm going to try and use the following app and YouTube and see if I can watch most of the game without too much interruption. 😊

The youTube streams get shutdown quite often and you have find another again.

The WABC link posted above works great.

I just went ahead and got the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundle for $29.99. Me and 3 other friends split YouTube TV so it's only like $23 per person, so adding this bundle isn't that big of a deal financially. I'll cancel it once the Disney channels are back on YouTube tv.

This is so dumb. SIAP, but has anyone run the numbers here. Am I best off buying the espn whatever app for sports and sling (or something) for my wife's regular tv? Is it still possible to get an all in one solution thats reasonably priced (all I'm talking here is sports, HGTV and whatever channel dateline comes on)

I have little use with live tv anymore. Only use it to watch sports. Hardly watch pro ball, and now that we don't play on CBS anymore, I probably should've cancelled YT tv and went with this Disney bundle a while ago. I have kids and the wife and I don't watch much tv. When we do, we're streaming on an app rather than live tv.

Dropped YouTube tv yesterday. May change to Fox one plus ESPN bundle. Idiotic food fight like government shutdown.

Just watched a bit of Vandy-Texas on regular YT, and it's like streaming from the stone ages, the picture shaking at any motion. When the players are stationary it's fine. Watch a whole game that way and your head will be rattling.

I just did the Fubo 5-day free trial, so I'm good for today and since I'm not billed again for YTTV I'll hold onto that for now. I like YTTV so I hope this idiocy is worked out.

So weary of this. I have Youtube TV and this sucks. I just checked Hulu and they have a message saying, "if your ESPN channels & Disney channels are not working you can complain here." So they apparently aren't airing it either. Why would the University put themselves in these positions?

The University of Tennessee should stream the game live for free when this happens. They should stop selling their product to people who are not airing it. I'm about to decide to get rid of all of this mess and go antenna only and the rest of it be damned.

Yes my YTTV is 92$ a month now without the channels that have left it is worth 20$ a month . And if they jack the prices again to get the channels back i will drop it.
YTTV sent me an email saying they were giving a $20 credit for each month that ESPN is unavailable.

YoutubeTV is already $83/month. I canceled two days ago. I love having live sports, but you kinda have to have ESPN if you're gonna charge me $83 for that.
