Franklin was only at Vandy three years, though. At the end of year three for Lea, he was 9-27 and 2-22 in the SEC.

Lea also has the most veteran roster in the SEC right now. Vandy will take a massive step back next year without their seniors/super seniors and Pavia.

Franklin walked into a good roster and a down SEC. Lea built the roster to where it is and the SEC is really good now, so I just think he deserves a lot more credit.

I've been beating the "Vandy is good this year" drum all year.

But the idea they are going to sustain success... Yeah.. not happening. Actual real teams spending millions on rosters are struggling to sustain success.

Vandy has an entire roster of low-rated, experienced seniors. That's why they are good. I don't think Lea is a bad coach, but he isn't going to sustain success at Vandy. The only way to do that is to get them to spend like everyone else spends. And they can talk about it all they want. They already regret investing in the **** Titans. No one in the Nashville community is investing in **** Vanderbilt football.

This just occurred to me: I bet this carriage dispute between Disney and YouTube is mostly about pushing people to ESPN's new stand-alone streaming service. I bet a bunch of YouTube TV users will sign up to watch CFB tomorrow. They are so dirty.

We are quite content with FUBO instead of youtubeTV. It includes ESPN+ in its package, so there is no separate fee. You access it per usual through the ESPN+ app and use your FUBO ID/password. We then added the Disney+ for the grandkids.

The downside for FUBO in our home is no HGTV stuff. So I added the Discovery+ app for wifey. The upside for FUBO in addition to ESPN+ is you can add a sports tier that gives you access to in-market MLB, NBA, etc. I can watch both the Braves and Reds games home and away during the season. I think it is something like $16 per month additional. My entire bill for FUBO related for the ultimate package plus the sports tier is $121 per month, then add the Disney and Discovery.

70% of Fubo is owned by Disney, they'll take over the full company in 2026.

The best bet is probably doing a FuboTV free trial and cancelling. Really the only option for users is to do something like Hulu or the ESPN packages. This is so dirty and dumb they have screwed everyone. Basically forcing you to spend max $ as possible.
