-I am attending this one in person. I have heard nothing but great things. Looking forward to the hospitality I've heard about from other fans.

-Another big weekend, another big SEC matchup. It's going to be a war and the better team will win. I just want to see our offense correct mistakes from Ole Miss and I want to see our o-line cohesively play better than we have all year.

-I am worried about our o-line. Tennessee's defense isn't very good, but their defensive lineman could certainly disrupt things.

Our has some great fans, very complimentary of us. I'm sure some of our dumbass fans will show their asses and make the rest of us look bad, but how not.

Yup. That's the downside of being a founding member-perhaps THE founding member of all of this.

Us and the fans of a handful of other teams have generations of trauma on our backs at all times ha ha

Oklahoma has usually had a fairly easy ride through the B8 and then the B12. Get up for Texas and historically Nebraska every year then play a bunch of orphanages for the sick the rest of your games .

In the 21 seasons prior to joining the SEC (2003-2023), Oklahoma played 98 ranked teams - an average of 4.7 per year. During that same timeframe, we played 99 ranked teams.

Yes, the SEC has traditionally been a deeper, stronger conference, especially with expansion. But to act like Oklahoma has played "a bunch of orphanages" over the course of their history is ignorant and smug. They are a top ten all-time program.

Where were those teams ranked? A bit of a difference between playing a Kansas St team holding on to #25 by one vote over #26 vs facing #1 Bama, #3 Georgia, and #10 Florida (for most of that time anyway)

I'm truly sorry, but once you are out of the top 15 or so-why does it really matter?

I find the weekly discussions about UT rising from #17 to #16 with 300 replies to be a bit over the top.

Sure being ranked in the top #25 is a nice feather in your cap I suppose. 7-8 years ago I would have been thrilled with that. Expectations and prices have risen though. I'm paying top dollar, then you sure as hell better perform.

. I want to see more from the program than bouncing up and down near the end of the T25 list each week. Knowhutimean?

Either be serious and do what is needed to be elite or get out and let somebody else have a crack at it

We're averaging allowing 38 points/game in conference play. I'm hoping we can keep them under the average.
Before his injury,Mateer was elite and getting Heisman talk. He didn't forget how to play. Maybe he's still hurt but our defense gave up 5 TD to KY QB. I think Mateer is better

My momma used to break whiskey bottles over my head when I would cry as a baby so sometimes I don't think so good. But I do know we have one of the worst defenses in the country in most statistics that matter. Northeast Missouri Convalescent Home for the Blind and Infirmed could put 30 points on us. And that's without Helen Keller starting at QB. We could put autistic kittens on the field on defense and get better results.

setting up strawmen as usual...literally no one said they weren't a top ten program of all time just like us, but trying to act like the Big 8/12 were a bunch of world beaters is hilarious

They literally had to beat Colorado and Nebraska to win the conference for decades, then mop up Mizzou, Iowa St, and the kansas schools...it was a joke compared to Tennessee's schedule and anyone with a brain knows it
