Netflix

The Hunting Wives is must see tv. All of you with younger ones make sure you have their limited access turned on for this one.
Oh yes. I already finished all of season one two weeks ago. Great acting, storytelling, and lots of plot twists as well. I always have been a fan of both Malin Akerman and Brittany Snow as I seen many of their films. And they didn't let me down with this show. Brittany does a great job as the protagonist and Malin steals the show as the villain. Plus, seeing Malin nude in most episodes was a bonus. Britt was only topless for a couple of scenes, but I'll still take it.

Did not enjoy Black Rabbit. Wife said it was ok but I found myself either bored or getting aggravated at the characters stupidity.

I liked it but admittedly I'm a Jason Bateman mark.

Having said that, the show should have been titled "Let's Keep Making the Bad Decision" and as much as I love Bateman if the dude wants me to believe he grew up in NYC then he's going to have to do something other than his normal Chicago/Midwestern accent. I mean even Jude Law tried a New York accent even though it wasn't great.

Watches 1 episode of House of Guiness. Meh. I'll finish it tho just because Peaky Blinders is one of my all time favorites.

I'm not sold by the teaser. Let me know.

Peaky Blinders season 1 was a tough watch, TBH, and I love that show. I think that's when I permanently adopted CC for British accent shows, and that made it a lot easier to get through that season on the 3rd try.

its definitely a Peaky Blinders wanna be. More of a Downton Abbey/Peaky Blinders mash up. Not the best series I've seen but not worst. Its just ok. The cliffhanger at the end of the season tells you there will more than likely be a season 2. Also like most everything on Netflix there is a gay storyline so if you dont care for that then skip the series

Black Rabbit

I liked it. The mistake after mistake storyline was a bit taxing. It was hard to root for the main characters....and then you find out why Bateman is the way he is and why Jude Law is too, and you can feel better about them in the end. Kind of a beatiful story about brothers but in a ****ed up way.

Finished Black Rabbit. Good stuff. Glad I stuck with it. Kinda figured it would end that way. Jude Law's character was a total dumb ass though.
