That stat on 20+ yard throws yesterday was insane. 6/6 for 274 yards and 2 TD's.

And his stats don't exactly reflect what he's doing, either. He's had some real bad luck. One game he had two picks that went of Kintsleman's hands first. He had the 74-yard TD throw to Brazzell called back over BS offensive PI. Plays where MM and Staley just stopped the route because they thought they weren't getting the ball.

Portland Trailblazers are the best 1-2 team in the league. Really tough defensive squad that will be real dangerous if they can figure out the 3-ball.

Mavericks wearing the old jerseys from the 80's. Those teams were pretty good, Mark Aguirre. Rolando Blackman, Derek Harper and Roy Tarpley .... Gave my Showtime Lakers some good playoff series...

Didn't know where else to post this. Figured the basketball guys would appreciate it the most...a timeline:

Herbstreit and Russillo know each other from their ESPN days, and he comes on as an RR guest from time to time.

In 2022, Herbstreit was announced as a TNF commentator, and Bill Simmons started criticizing and making fun of KH.

Herbstreit doesn't appear on Russillo at all (or any Ringer show, of course).

2025, Russillo's very first guest after leaving The Ringer is Herbstreit. šŸ˜‚

Why is Simmons making fun of KH?

Simmons is not really a CFB guy and so I think he was being a gatekeeper in his criticism of the choice....and then Herbstreit was kinda bad at first. Understandably so. The game prep for CFB + NFL must be insane and then learning to work with a new partner while you still have your old partner. It's a tough ask.

And your partner is in their late 70's and has clearly phoned in his assignment, only getting the job because he's the most popular PxP guy of all-time lol

He said Al Michaels will make a point, pause, and then start a 2nd part to the point, and Herby said that was hard to figure out when a pause was meant to be for dramatic effect and when it meant "go Herby."

He said, strangely, one of the hard things to learn with Michaels was to call the game sitting down.

Feels like this Ryan Rollins thing with the Bucks is real. He's really not that great at running point, but the job is to play D and play off Giannis. He's a got a 6' 10" wingspan and can knock down open shots.
