@VolPack22 (or anyone else) in PPR league, should I trade Rashee Rice and Jaylen Warren for Jaxon Smith Njigba?

I have a lot of running backs (D Henry, J Jacobs, Judkins, Chase Brown). I also have Puka, Justin Jefferson, and Courtland Sutton. I probably wont play Warren much.

Seems that if JSN is an upgrade over Rice, then I’ll strengthen the roster. But if JSN and Rice are comparable, may not be worth it.

There’s another strong team that has J Taylor, Amonra, Gibbs, Achane, London who I’m chasing
I traded Gibbs for JSN straight up because I had like 4 top 10 RB and needed a stud WR. And I scooped up Vidal on the waiver wire so now I’m back to having a lot of options at RB. I might swing another one for Puka or St. Brown to create some separation.

Personally I wouldn’t do Rice and Warren for JSN because I think Rice is going to be high volume the rest of the season, especially since the Chiefs don’t have great options at RB. I would look at trading Sutton or Jefferson (yes I know that might sound crazy) before Rice. Rice has already gotten 19 targets and 3 TD in 2 games back from suspension. He is going to be putting up a lot of points. Jefferson has not lived up to his standards recently and now that Wentz is hurt, I don’t trust JJ McCarthy getting him the football as much as he is used to.

Interesting that the resident person mentioned my tax dollars.. this coming Monday I will be 55 and officially retiring from the workforce.. no mortgage, no car payment and a nice nest egg saved up...

The last 20 or 30 years of my life will be dedicated to Hunting, fishing and spending quality time with my family ( especially my grandchildren).

Thanks! Yeah, I kind of had second thoughts on the Rice/JSN trade. I have thought about trading Jettas, but I think most people are aware that he’s been underperforming, I’m curious to see how he does with JJ and also he’s got a really easy playoff schedule (starts with cowboys and giants!) I’ll think about it.

Thanks, missed lots of my kids young years due to working 60 or 70 hours a week. I swore I would be done before my retirement age so I could be with my grandkids ..so I'm very happy ...

I mean I think you are setup nicely. Unfortunately a team with Taylor, Gibbs, and St. Brown are going to be hard to beat any given week. I have my current PPR set as:

QB Hurts
RB Taylor
RB Javonte Williams
WR JSN
WR Adams or Odunze (usually lean to Adams but will rotate base on matchup)
TE Warren
FLEX Dobbins, Kyren Williams, or Vidal (rotate between best matchup)
D/ST Colts
K McGlaughlin

Haha, I also have Hurts and Warren!

The opponents players (Taylor, Gibbs, St Brown, Achane) have had so much good luck that it should run out? We shall see.

Also have Bucky Irving in 2 of my 3 leagues. Surprisingly enough, the league I am struggling for depth in I am 7-1 and leading the league. I’ve been rolling with Taylor and J. Williams as my only healthy RB since week 4 and also had Aaron Jones on IR until this past week. Luckily I’ve had great QB play, Chase as WR, and Warren as TE in that league. But I am 1 injury away from doomsday…

He has like 300 yards and 6 TD vs the Titans this season so you can thank them for a lot of it 🤣

Well, at least he’s done playing the Titans! 😁 Has to be a change of luck there.

I’m totally focused on playoff schedule at this point. Had dropped Chase Brown earlier because he was horrid, but then went back out and got him last week due to his soft playoff schedule (Bills, Ravens, Miami and Arizona). Then he dutifully goes out and gets 25.5!

He also had 3 TD vs the Chargers and Raiders so I don’t think it’s all on the Titans 🤣

I said the same thing when I retired 14 years ago. I hope it works well for you.
