President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Unlike you, who criticizes consistently across the board though I feel you lean left, his mindless Droning reeks of lootherism. Plus I interact with @FLVOL_79 fairly regularly so I feel like messing with him.
As you insinuatine , there are hacks that are worse to pick on but I don’t care for those others so it’s not as entertaining.

Basically.
Ok, fair enough.

Didn’t remember him much from the last few years but he said he voted for Trump three times and I can’t imagine a federal employee who likes this admin. Seemed like a legit change of opinion.

Trump is following through on pretty much his campaign promises, and the American people gave him a victory. Sorry some of yall hate democracy..go win an election.
He sure did. Ukraine Russia are at peace. Waitresses don't have tips taxed. No tax on overtime pay. Auto loan interest are tax deductible. Energy cost are cut in half ,groceries are darn near free, and you're now paid to get a prescription filled.

I thought Trump drained the swamp and replaced everyone with ardent supporters in lock step with his every whim and desire who will ignore the constitution because "its ok when my guy does it".
The only person Trump has hired that was qualified for the job was Stormy Daniels

and probably "don't expect us to pay for something we didn't vote for that the government in charge wanted"

It's one of the small lies/great oversimplifications of history that the Revolutionary War was all about taxation without representation. The presence of the troops everywhere, particularly the violations of Castle Doctrine (which was a cornerstone of English law), was the biggest gripe for a lot of colonists.

not sure if you are agreeing with me or not. But I didn't say taxes, I said "pay"

the troops were there to make sure the colonists were paying "their fare share" of the costs the british government collected fighting the French. a fight that went well beyond US shores. those costs went beyond the taxes. it focused on continuing to rely on british industry.

the troops were housed in American homes because the brits couldn't afford proper barracks. the troops were there because Americans were doing whatever they could to avoid paying the money the brits expected them to. The troops were there to protect the investment the brits made. The East India Company, and pretty much every major industry and shipping was British funded, and those were the monies the Brits wanted to keep flowing.

The brits didn't want us to spread west, because they knew we would be more independent than the control they could ever project.

there is a reason the Americans still owed private debts to the British government after the peace treaty. an issue that largely fueled the war of 1812.

I am not sure what your point is in relation to current events, so I can't find a reason to disagree with you. 😀

Thanks to the Schumer Shutdown. Remember Democrats said it’s ok for Americans to suffer because that’s there only leverage
