If I wanted to coach more it would be great. Drop the mitigation clause and you can give it to me 500k a month instead

If I didn’t want to coach it would be give me 40m in next 60 days and we call it a day.

If Joey keeps playing great and wins out, he will be in NY. And if that happens he will take that spot from Pavia. This might sound crazy and I don’t think it will happen but it’s good for us to have Vandy with one loss coming to Neyland. I don’t think that’s going to happen though. I think they lose this weekend (because the backup QB for Texas is playing) and possibly lose to Auburn at home.

Texas will lose to Georgia and probably A&M.

Missouri loses to A&M and maybe Oklahoma.

Oklahoma loses to us, Bama, and possibly LSU.

If the season keeps getting crazier it’s possible a three loss team gets in. We have everything to play for.

Joey Aguilar is on pace for the following season (edited as original was based on 6 remaining games which I hope happens):

3809 yards passing, 29 TD, 10 Int, sacked 13 times. 148 yards rushing, 3 TD's.

That would be top three all time in Tennessee football history. The only arguments could be 2022 Hendon and 1997 Peyton.

Yet somehow not in any Heisman discussions...

Ty Simpson, Diego Pavia and Marcel Reed all are though... of course all 1 loss top 10 teams. Just further proves Heisman isn't an individual award.

Pavia: 2156 total yards, 20 total TDs with 5 INTs
Reed: 2321 total yards, 23 total TDs with 6 INTs
Simpson: 2263 total yards, 22 total TDs with 1 INT
Joey: 2435 total yards, 20 total TDs with 6 INTs

Also drives me crazy when folks talk about "who has TN beat?" A&M's best win was a 1 point at Notre Dame.

Haven't played Bama or Georgia. Don't play Ole Miss and won't face Texas until the last game of the season. I hate to say it...but I kinda hope old Dorkwitz pulls off the upset hosting them Saturday.

Perlotte is not elite? Dye, Campbell, Utley don’t flash? I think they are all studs and just need more time and a year in strength program.

Walton doesn’t flash? Looks to me like he just wasn’t coached up and doesn’t know his role well. But he tackles pretty decently.

Most of the 300+ yards this weekend were fro. YAC. Why is our tackling so horrid? We’ve had double digit missed tackles six games straight. That’s not a talent issue, that’s a coaching and effort issue.

Garner and Martinez likely retire after this year. It would be the year to switch some things up. And I think we will.

If talent was our primary problem, we'd be average, not last in the SEC.

The entire second and third level looking at the sideline pre-snap: 🤷🤷🤷.

That's not a talent problem.

Someone mentioned DJ Durkin. I promise if DJ Durkin was our DC, we wouldn't have missed assignments on literally every single play.

This binary thinking that Banks can't get the blame until we have the full 85 Bears back there who are all seniors and can run the defensive calls blindfolded.... It's bizarre. A bizarre standard no one else would ever be held to.

He’s used every one in the book to defend Banks and then said he hadn’t made any excuses.
I’ve wasted to much time arguing with him, but feel free to proceed if you like!!

Chuck Webb scored three times and Greg Amsler added two scores Saturday, leading No. 12 Tennessee from a 14-point first-half deficit to a 45-39 victory over Louisiana State.

Tennessee enjoyed a 21-17 halftime lead, thanks to Carl Pickens' 93-yard kickoff return in the closing seconds of the second quarter, before blowing open the game in the second half.

Webb scored on a 1-yard dive on the Volunteers' opening possession of the third quarter to boost the lead to 28-17, but the Tigers came back on their next possession to close within 28-24 when quarterback Tommy Hodson scored on a 2-yard draw on fourth down.

Tennessee marched down the field again, with Amsler scoring on a 2-yard run. Midway through the fourth quarter, Webb scored again from 1 yard out for a 42-24 Tennessee lead.

Hodson hit Eddie Fuller on a 23-yard touchdown with less than six minutes left and connected with Wesley Jacob on a 2-point conversion, but LSU's onside kick did not travel 10 yards and Tennessee took over. Tennessee's Greg Burke hit a 31-yard field goal with 1:38 remaining.

Why I said I’m not actually concerned about linebacker next year. So much talent and many getting reps now. And the class coming in has studs.

I think Campbell, Dye, and utley will be monsters next year too, Freshmen class and this years class is elite. Talented team next year no doubt. Use portal for needs and go win.

Can't wait to run the table and piss everyone off that we made the playoff again.

We could very easily be undefeated with A&M's schedule.
