I’m surprised they aren’t more confident. They will have a field day on our defense. We let the worst team in the SEC throw for over 300 yards, making it look easy!! OU can absolutely win this game in a shootout

Why would they? They have to play a perfect game to have a chance against us as long our offense plays just average.

OU just got carved up by a very potent offense on their home turf. They are going on the road against a better offense. The notion that OU just has to show up to win is absurd. Mateer is injured and stunting his rehab by playing and is averaging 190 since he surgery. But sure, lets be scared.

Texas and Oklahoma are finding out first hand the SEC is full of we don't really want "who's next".Texas was "gifted with a crybaby easy schedule last year and this year isn't much harder.Let texass get used to Ala,Ga. and Fla. every year like we had for 30 so years.

This is OU's first hostile road game. (Temple does not count)
Then they play in Tuscaloosa next game.
Not sure Sooner's schedule in conducive to building and improving.

Their schedule was very light at the top. I think they still aren’t sure what type of team they really are. We will learn a lot Saturday night. Here’s to hoping they’re a paper tiger and the crowd affects their offense

With a better defense. That's why it's 3 1/2.. I don't feel that great about this one. They can absolutely take the air out of the ball , limit possessions and hurry Joey up. Hearing that Hood may be out gives me even less confidence in this game.

Wow,a pretty reasonable and realistic fanbase. You don't see that too much in the SEC. Maybe that's something OU brings to the conference.

-I am attending this one in person. I have heard nothing but great things. Looking forward to the hospitality I've heard about from other fans.
Make sure that the only disappointment had by the Okie visitors is their team’s defeat.

We always play better at home. Mateer looked pretty terrible imo in the game this weekend as well especially late. Kentucky was an incredibly sloppy defensive game; I think “some” of that gets cleaned up. We’re also getting some youth on the field at some key positions like lber. I don’t think the defense becomes world beaters suddenly but I bet we look much better at home this weekend.

Not really a great deal of bulletin board material there is there?

Not even the obligatory TN is over rated blah blah blah.

Oklahoma fans have shown themselves to be some or the more rational in the conference ha ha
