needs to come up the middle. mateer will still scramble. since the injury it seems like he moves more to throw in the past, but I certainly haven't watched a ton of games to make a real call one way or the other.

their fans seem very down which is strange. we still need to bring our A game, not necessarily A+, but our defense will likely give up some big plays to keep them in the game. they are much more talented their Kentucky, and their defense is pretty legit.

one thing I saw in the game this weekend is that Venables may be worse than Heupel at clock management, which seems strange.

A lot of coaches tend to struggle with Clock Management. I wonder if they overthink it. Even Kirby Smart has had issues with it in the past as well.

Then again, 2022 Alabama saw perfect management of the clock by the Vols.

Hard to disagree with you. Maybe it's history clouding my judgement. I still feel like Vandy is playing with house money.

They talked a lot last year about baker mayfield winning here and showing the sec how it’s done by a blue blood program and yada yada. F em. They’re just as dumb as the bamas, Fl, LSU and GA’s. They are just realizing they have more than one game at the cotton bowl every year and this ain’t the big 12.

I think their comments mirror our own with awarenes around the team's deficiencies. I have always like the OK fan base and we have a lot in common with them. Hoping for a comfortable win but reality is this could be a shootout.

We make opposing offenses look great this year, the D-Line really needs to play their best for us to get some separation on the scoreboard.

I pray as well. Something has got to give. The Defense is a Downer and a Dream Snatcher.
I thought the first game the defense was going to be fine. Even after the Georgia game, ok.
Then Miss State, 4 drives inside our 30 yd line, ok. Arkansas game Petrino Offense but coverage defense was yuck. AL= Offense, Coaching and Coverage and finally KY = Nothing

-I am attending this one in person. I have heard nothing but great things. Looking forward to the hospitality I've heard about from other fans.

-Another big weekend, another big SEC matchup. It's going to be a war and the better team will win. I just want to see our offense correct mistakes from Ole Miss and I want to see our o-line cohesively play better than we have all year.

-I am worried about our o-line. Tennessee's defense isn't very good, but their defensive lineman could certainly disrupt things.

This is about what I expect for them. They have to play a perfect game indeed to win in Neyland. Tennessee not so much. The offense just needs to repeat at home what they did at Kroger field and we are okay.

Of note, Arkansas scored more points on Ole Piss and Texas AM Then UT including the OT with UT….
