Yall think any of these jobs give Heup a call? Just to see if there is any interest?

Honestly the only ones I could see taking a swing like that is Penn State or LSU.

Florida can't pay him more and it seems like they're lacking in facilities compared to other top programs. OK State I honestly don't think they got the support/money, he could probably dominate that conference though and he did go to OU.

Front 4 gets in the backfield more this year than last year doesn’t it? I don’t have the numbers

2024 100 TFL, 29 Sacks

2025 62 TFL, 27 Sacks

Outside of the stat sheet, the pressure/disruption from interior DL is noticeably down a level from last year. I guess the counter to that is, if we're still producing TFL/Sacks then who cares. (just need more TFL/Sack on 3rd down....)

Mateer is like playing against Nico Iamaleava. One read and run. If our defensive coaching staff cannot gameplan against a guy they practiced against for two years, Goodnight.

Keep him in the pocket, spy with Boo (I think he can excel in this role) or Perlotte, and keep two safeties' deep. Make him throw into zone gaps on the outside. He has shown incapable of that since the injury.
Basically the Georgia gameplan, but he won't make the throws Stockton was able to make on the outside.

Idk if they get back there more, but it seems like they're getting home more when they do get back there. We had DL in the backfield a lot last year, but a lot of times the QB escaped the pressure. Probably just a shty memory on my part

I dont think upgrading the DC will resolve our issues. The issue isn't scheme or leadership, it's personel.
This. Our team is extremely young this year. With a couple notable exceptions, underclassmen arent meant to start right away. The positive of the situation is development will be sped up but there will be painful bumps along the way.

Caption did not disappoint. I would hope the athletic association for that state would award Alexandria the win, because the game should have been over.
They need to fix it. That's the last time a lot of those guys will ever play football. It's bad, because it's the same on the other team too. I can't believe those refs wouldn't listen to the dozens of people telling them they were screwing up.

It also highlights the elevated played from our EDGE and LBs though.

Josephs leads the team with 6 TFLs, only 4 are sacks
Herring has 5 and only 3 are sacks
Telander has 4 with 0 sacks
Ross has 3 with just 1.5 sacks
Arion has 2.5 and just 1 sack

Also an interesting stat... as a team we've forced 13 fumbles last year we finished the season with 11
