My prediction, Kiffin will stay where he is and become the 2nd-highest paid coach in the SEC. I don't think there's anything compelling him to leave. I think he has better resources where he is than any job that could potentially open. But I have been wrong before. Just reading the tea leaves.

Gonna come down to whether he wants to walk away from his happy new family life at ole miss with more money then he can spend to go somewhere else that he thinks gives him a better shot at NC in exchange for dealing with higher expectations and more AD and booster BS then he might have now.

There's a lawsuit out there that would eliminate all JUCO years counting against 1 eligibility----opens a big can of worms.

The NCAA just allowed 2 basketball players, who were playing in the NBA G League, to return to college as amateurs. Has to do with NIL since college players are being paid. Big ole can of worms being opened.

Bring on the hate. I like heupel. I don’t think his seat should even be a little warm. He is here to stay and I am happy about that. His look has nothing to do with the way he coaches. But, it may matter a bit in recruiting.

These are kids and the same way they want flashy pics and uniforms, they want everything tight and looking good. Do you think young stud football players feel more connected to a Marcus freeman or a Josh heupel?

I would never have brought the topic up, but I do think there may be something there. Wouldn’t hurt him to try the gym or cover up the turkey neck with a beard.

I’d say it’s most likely we go 2-1 against OK, UF, VU.

Again, most likely being we beat Oklahoma & Vanderbilt at home, and lose to Florida in the swamp?

You think this place would burn over a 9-3 regular season, plus a bowl for 10-3?

I agree and "burn" is is maybe too much, but he isn't that far off base.

The wackos have come to think we should just snap our fingers and be in the playoffs year-in and out. The only 2 SEC teams that should even expect a 50%+ playoff rate are Bama and UGA...and Bama already missed it last year.

Before the playoffs began I went the through the exercise...at our top-15 recruiting pace, we should expect it once every 3 years. Hopefully our recruiting keeps going up and up and we can hope for every other year as a standard and grow from there. But yeah, folks are just so unreasonable now, especially after making it in Y1.
