It’s not that Mateer is a good passer, our D is not good. One 10 yard pass could go for a 50 yard score on any given play. Plus, our run D isn’t good this yr. Hopefully we turn him over early Saturday nt.

We sack the QB and force turnovers. And Mateer has shown in 3 games back he has ultra happy feet.

Being on the road won’t help him either.

Agree. But Pavia will indeed run over and pass a lot on this defense. We will have to get 3 plus turnovers and score 45 plus to beat Vandy. Maybe 50 plus.

People said the same about needing to score 50 on the road to even have a chance against Bama yet our defense held them to stops on the majority of possessions and our offense/coach gifted them 10 points in a 17 point game.
