You might get by with that statement if our run defense was not almost as bad as the pass defense. And if we were not playing one of the worst offenses in the nation.

Alontae Taylor and the safety (forgot his name) took huge steps forward in year one with Martinez. McCoy became the best corner in the country under Martinez. Hood has been great. Jakobe Thomas was really good last year. When they have talent they coach them up pretty well. But they can’t get talent without using the portal. Not good

McCoy was great at Oregon st. Hood came from Colorado and despite what you may think of him as a head coach neon Deion knows a thing or three about DBs

100%. I get "Training them up". But dude.

If Joey Aguilar can literally pick up how the offense is ran in months. Literally any decent back or receiver can.

And with banks. Dude needs to go. I appreciate everything the guy has done with getting players. I don't discount the fact of what he came into with the trash fire of pruit. But year 4/5. You need to be showing up and showing out on defense.

I get that they're both out, buy these are the guys we have right now. They are the starters now. They've been the starters for half a season at this point. No, they're not as good as the guys we planned to have, but could they at least show some semblance of improvement at this stage?

We're limited on defense. Understand the concept of parity and the lack of quality reserves. Watch the NFL and learn something about it. When key people are out, the dropoff in talent and experience is high. No one has many top otch reserves. They can get paid higher to start elsewhere
