I mean, I definitely hope you’re right! But I think you also forget that, assuming everyone does win out, Bama and Georgia have to play each other again in the SECC game. So that would be a two loss team that has the head to head against us. And then, if memory serves me correctly, I don’t have the rankings in front of me, Ole Miss also has one loss. So if they get a second, I would think they get in ahead of us. Overall, I’m just not seeing us with a path.Y’all are crazy. I don’t care if we squeak by 2-0 in all the remaining games. 10-2 is in especially with all the other teams who play each other.

I think if Marc Bolan would have lived to see Warrant he would have had regrets.Jimmy Sexton caricature....View attachment 784551

there was a penalty in the vandy game but ESPN didn't show the ref until after he announced the infraction.
It looked like it was either Jason Autry or Steve Marlowe.

It was in the third quarter when they had a fourth down and three at the opponents 7 yard line and he passed on the field goal to go for it and got stuffed. That opened the door. And not having that three points ended up costing them the game. So, interestingly, he got aggressive clearly in FG position, and the holding penalty put it back to a 52 yard attempt. Just something to think about next time we are positioning for a game winning score.
And…I know you are using sarcasm.
* @OGbabyaviVolI think you're just saying that because 10-2 got us in last year. Coupled with some AP poll logic.
The AP poll doesn't matter. There are 7 SEC teams ahead of us. You need to look at the remaining games and figure out how that's going to end up being 3. Because any more than three ahead of us (or effectively tied with Bama and Georgia), and we do not get in.
It’s not a guarantee this year. Especially when our best win would be Vandy.
I’m not going to argue with all yall because as I said it’s not a valid argument you are presenting. It’s more likely the SEC gets five teams than not because ND, G5, Big 10 (three), and Big 12 (one) and ACC (one) are the most likely scenarios. Leaving 5 remaining teams. I’ll even give you Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, and A&M. If we beat OU and Vandy they’re out. UGA beats Texas, they’re out. LSU in that scenario loses to AM or Bama. Missouri in that scenario loses to AM or Vandy. We are the 5th team. If we win the next two weeks we’ll be around 13-14 in initial cfp rankings with three weeks of wins and ranking shake up to go.I mean, I definitely hope you’re right! Again, I absolutely hope I am wrong and will happily be wrong! But I just don’t see it.
Texas and LSU very much still alive, but sure. Let's say you're right. It’s really 5 teams playing for 4/5 spots. A&M, Bama, UGA, Ole Miss, and UT given we win out. The rest all works itself out with teams playing each other. Mizzou coujd be included if they beat Vandy. Vandy loses head to head with us.
