He'll either keep the ball rolling or the program will slowly start to slide. No egg on DW's face if that happens but it certainly would've looked bad if he hired someone else and they let the program slip.

He'll either keep the ball rolling or the program will slowly start to slide. No egg on DW's face if that happens but it certainly would've looked bad if he hired someone else and they let the program slip.

Elander was a layup, indeed. Even in the worst case the program starts to dip, top names will be interested just because of the resources this program does have now. But first go with the most likely success option, I have a hard time believing Elander isn’t just Ryan Day in college baseball.

Because college qb very very rarely throw that pass too far beyond the LOS. I see that bad of a screen pass maybe 3 times a year in high school. It should literally never happen in college.

It really wasn’t that far past the LOS. I’ve watched it several times in wide view and watched Brazzell set his feet over the tv black line. Brazzell never moves forward waiting on the pass and then starts upfield as he’s catching it. It appears to be further, but the throw is from the 14 yard line to the 18ish. That’s why it’s never called, because the officials can’t get fooled by the WR’s movement. Ridiculous call.

I’m a believer that Heupel really calls the plays. Golesh may have helped prepare more of the game plan and provided more input.

Goelsh is great but it’s still overblown.
