President Donald Trump - J.D. Vance Administration

Just to be clear ....

This government shutdown is in no way delaying the construction of Donald Trump's pet project, $300 million dollar White House ballroom is it?

What an immensely demoralizing calamity it would be for our nation, if that ballroom falls even one day behind its date of scheduled completion.
Why would the Federal Government shutdown affect a privately funded construction project?

Dude is so butthurt Canada is looking to increase business elsewhere. It's almost like Trump has no plan when tariff bullying doesn't work...

I bet he threatens to sue someone for 1 BILLION DOLLARS.

The party that still pines for Reagan is the furthest thing from him.

I would prefer it to be run like a business.

I know this is a common adage, but are you sure that's what you really want?

Most businesses aren't out to help the consumer. They are literally designed to extract what they reasonably can from the consumer.

Guess who's who in the US Gov/American citizen scenario.

I want the government to neither help nor hurt the citizen.

Imagine the nerve of Canada ....

Can you believe the balls on those guys? Searching around for more financially favorable business deals?
Should the US not be trying to get more favorable deals as well?

I get that Trump is a choad and his approach is brash and haphazard at best, but who has given any other route that doesn't include us using the confiscated Diddy lube?

I like government to provide economic stability and protection from bad actor sh!t nations who wish they too could grab a chalupa from Taco Bell at 3am.

Two questions

1. How would you define my politics?

2. What percentage of posters are more critical of current admin and right than me? 20-25% at most
I wasn’t trying to shoehorn you politically. I was simply observing that across myriad topics and discussions my own position aligns with your’s and Hill’s the vast majority of the time. Maybe Hill a smidge more. You’re not present in one of the major threads.

You’re very critical of Trump and this Admin. I share those criticisms, and show it (when I’m in here).

Just think about all the hotels you've stayed in during your life and all the gay dudes who probably boned each other in there.

Relatives thought it strange whenever we brought our sleeping bags with us traveling while staying in hotels. The joke was on them until they caught on.

(put it straight in the washer when you get home with hot water)

Doubtful it will happen. That is the difference between government run services vs private. When the government gets involved, it Usually leads to a bad outcome. Thankful President Trump is handling this privately.
Indeed!

The American people should be very thankful for this extraordinarily gracious private investment. It will serve every single American citizen. A $300 million dollar White House ballroom was so desperately needed. How has the power of the Executive Branch of the United States federal government ever managed to function without it?

Obviously it wasn't hence more indictments coming, and a new ball room.

The same way we will survive the tragic loss of the White House Calligrapher’s office.

At least, that is what I keep telling myself.
