The Giants have always tried to spend money. Always.

They once set the market for the greatest player on the planet at the time.

Harper, Judge, Ohtani are all recent attempts from SF. They tried to get CC when he went to NY.

They tried to trade for Stanton, Greinke, Lester in their primes. Soriano, Guerrero.

They paid Willie Fuq’n Adames $200M….

We've got 3 or 4 stats that look really good. Then we have some that are absolute backbreakers. Most of the time these media guys want to polish it up and show the good stats, then gloss over the nut-stompers. We have to do something different to fix those issues or they're gonna clip us sooner or later. . . maybe we just don't have the guys who can play better and we have to roll with how it's been going.
