Telander is still trying to learn angles

Since SF decided to be the first to hire a college baseball coach to be a MLB manager, we decided to go one step further and be the first to hire a college linebacker to be a college baseball coach. Multi-dimensional chess by Danny. Big question is does this affect his eligibility to play football.

How is their less pressure to win? They just fired a manager that left the Padres to take his dream job with the Giants. He is a former Giant catcher, 3 time manager of the year and they fired him after two seasons.

The Giants brass isn’t dumb - they know they’re not toppling the Dodgers immediately. If they planned to, I doubt they’d take the route of hiring a college coach like this. This seems to be an obvious experiment where some promise shown by TV should buy him a good bit of job security.

If we run it right there, they probably score easily.

Deboer literally called timeout to tell his team "they will not run the ball here" and pulled guys off the LOS.

So, you can run there. It would just be a gamble, like going for it on fourth down. In retrospect, not as much of a gamble as giving up a 14 point swing.

Never should have been in that situation though. Terrible clock management.

What was touched? They didnt take anything away from baseball to give anyone else. Baseball simply wanted more, to be on or past the leading teams in the conference (Arkansas) and they were willing to do it.
