Let’s be fair and reasonable here:

First, Randy and Donde are not included in any of this stuff.

Second, public enemy #1 was a Landon Raby moniker, to which Jared Dickey somewhat agreed. There have been other tweets from players and player parents that don’t sound favorable to DW.

Tony B has claimed that TV and DW don’t get along, and that he thinks DW would be fine with him leaving. Also said that Tony doesn’t like that DW chose to fund Women’s BBall more aggressively than Baseball. Also said Randy and Donde are aggressively trying to keep Tony. Don’t know if any of this is true.

Stoerner Fumbles was not complementary regarding the UT AD’s handling of Tony V. Basically said they were cocky and didn’t think any MLB would seriously consider hiring him.

Ben McKee has downplayed any alleged tension between the parties.

That’s the record. If you want to believe Danny screwed this up, there are credible sources that support this narrative. If you want to believe Tony V just wants a shot at the big leagues, there’s plenty of evidence in favor of this interpretation too.

The team of Danny, donde and Randy fixed the Athletics at this university
Baseball has a place in the pecking order and needs to see that
Everything that’s been said is hearsay
I’m sure somebody told these guys something and they turned it around to their liking and against who/what they don’t like
This is Knoxville media at its finest
Take a small problem that doesn’t need to be discussed and blow it up

Certain media members think they are bigger then the university
Tony and Danny haven’t said anything publicly
There not going to either

Tony basil in the biggest hack of them all
I will never like that guy

I’m sorry, but F that. Make a decision. At this point you’re not just dragging the fanbase along, which from a personally selfish perspective sucks, but it’s the guy on the team who he’s doing more harm to than good. I get it it’s not an easy decision, but you gotta think about what you’re doing to your players by keeping them in limbo

Basilio is an enemy of Tennessee athletics. He hates AD White because White tied off many leaks as he said he was trying to do in 2021 when he took over. Stoerner Fumbles said there was some friction and different things that AD White and Vitello were working out last night. AD thinks Vitello will stay and SF Giants think they’ll get him basically

He’s keeping them informed. I don’t see how he’s causing any harm. Decision clearly is tough.

Would rather have TV but Elander’s potential rating 99. Not the personality of TV but will continue to field a team full of bombers every year.
