Drink strikes me as a worse version of Mullen.

By that I mean worse on the weird meter.

Mullen is a weird guy (as we all are to a degree), but you would probably be happy to have him as a neighbor. He's funny at times and somewhat loyal

Drink just kinda strikes me as the guy who intentionally annoys the rest of the neighborhood

I'm not so sure the folks in Gainesville are ready to go down that road again.

On the surface though, yeah Drink kinda ticks the boxes
Definitely a good point. He also has a way of getting under people’s skin, which their most of their great coaches have been very successful doing. I don’t know if I see him being a national title coach at UF.

Florida can’t afford to miss on another one or their program is screwed. Kiffin just put out that “I’m not really such a dbag/I love Oxford” thing on ESPN so I’d say Kiffin screws over Ol Miss and bails for FL
Florida AD HATES Kiffbag, the fans want him but the admin has already passed on him 2x and will do so again!

If Fl even approaches Golesh, that will piss off A LOT of USF people. They’re building a new stadium right now. Realistically he needs 2-3 more years there before becoming our next coach and he says publicly he loves where he is (for now)…..

I'm guessing Franklin since he's available now.
Can't see them offering Lane the job while he's still in the mix for the playoffs
I'd think they'd want a big name hirer, not sure Golesh name is big enough yet but he'd he scary at FL

Kiffin has cleaned up his life, allegedly.

He’s quit drinking and pulled his family back together w Layla.

He’s even into hot yoga 👀 (he’s not in it for the coeds, surely)

It’s gonna be Kiffin.

If I were a Gator fan, I think I’d want them to bring Urban back. Doesn’t seem like there is any traction to that, but that’s what I would want if I were them. Another miss on a coach would really hamper them, so Idk why they don’t try to make a splash and get the old band back together.

Here is the crazy thing about all the coaches openings….Why would any coach still in CFP hunt especially someone like Lame rip the heart of their current team out and throw away their CFP spot at before they are out of CFP hunt?

How much money would that take and what would that say about that coach?

FYI….I realize the Lame hate will follow but it is a serious question.
That sort of thing is right up Kiffies alley.

I think it will be:

1a - Franklin
1b - Fisch
2 - Golesh

I don’t think Kiffin or Drinkwitz will go there. I don’t think they even offer Brohm.

I bet they go for Kiffin, he has that oily quality they seem to like plus his coaching style and offense is pretty Florida-esque.. so I bet they go for him.. I’m hoping he loves where he’s at, it’s a pretty good fit

They would be nuts not to take Franklin. They can get him at a discount for a few years. He has been in the SEC. Known commodity. Much easier to recruit there than Penn State. It would be a problem for the whole league. The problem he had at Penn State is that he was trying to make them something they could never be again and pushed too much. At UF, he can just be him.
